Am 13. Juni 2026 wird die Fläche "Am Wasserturm" bei Ruhr International zum Treffpunkt urbaner Künste. Cypher44 präsentiert Culture Clash und vereint Malerei, Tanz, Musik und Performances in einem offenen, kreativen Raum. Live-Painting von Julia A. Heuchert trifft auf verschiedene urbane Tanzperformances von Yeet & Lesque, afrikanisches Trommeln und eindrucksvolle Luftakrobatik am Vertikaltuch zeichnen die Breite der urbanen Künste aus. Mit Hmano steht ein ambitionierter Ur-Bochumer als Musiker auf der Bühne. Um dem Publikum die urbane Tanzkunst nahezubringen, wird zwischen den Acts ein Tanzworkshop im HipHop-Bereich angeboten und lädt zum Mitmachen ein. Den Abschluss gestaltet DJ Aleo mit einem energiegeladenen Set. Culture Clash steht dabei nicht für Gegensätze, sondern für kreative Begegnung, für Vielfalt, Bewegung und gemeinsame künstlerische Energie mitten im Ruhrgebiet.

On June 13, 2026, the “Wasserturm” area at Ruhr International Festival will become a meeting point for urban arts. Cypher44 e.V. presents “Culture Clash” and brings together painting, dance, music, and performances in an open, creative space. Live painting by Julia A. Heuchert meets various urban dance performances by Yeet & Lesque. Complemented by African drumming and impressive aerial acrobatics, the program showcases the wide range of urban arts. Hmano, an ambitious artist from Bochum, will perform as a musician. To further introduce the audience to urban dance, a hip-hop workshop will be offered between the acts, inviting everyone to take part. The event will close with an energetic DJ set by Aleo. “Culture Clash” does not stand for opposites, but for creative encounters, diversity, movement, and shared artistic energy in the heart of the Ruhr area.
